The Ladder is Broken.
Make Your Ascent.
The era of the linear career is over. We are navigating an exponentially changing world with a map from the Industrial Revolution. It’s time to trade the path of prestige for the path of divergence.
For generations, we signed a social contract: Pick a lane, climb the ladder and society will keep you safe. That contract is void.
In the age of AI, rapid disruption and longevity, staying in your lane is no longer safe. In fact, it’s the most dangerous thing you can do. The ladder has become fragile. It can no longer hold the weight of change.
We don’t need to climb it faster.
We need to look elsewhere.
The Safety Trap.
Three Frameworks.
One Ascent.
The undefinable Ascent is my methodology for helping you to integrate who you are with how you work. It relies on three frameworks that together enable you to arrive at your own personal summit.
The Purpose Acropolis: Your ideal life and destination.
The Energy Toolkit: Your capacity for the climb.
The Income Pathway: Your practical route to making it a reality.
The Purpose Acropolis.
The antidote to fragility.
The blueprint begins by gathering the raw Materials of your interests. We use them to lay a Foundation of semi-professional categories that offer you focus and room to grow.
We tie the vision together by placing the Keystone of your Golden Thread, then raise the Roof with the intellectual property of your Signature Expression.
Finally, we support the structure with the Pillars of Value Streams that enable you to keep showing up year after year.
The Energy Toolkit
The antidote to burnout.
You cannot conquer the mountain if you are exhausted at Basecamp. Most undefinables try to manage their time, but the secret to longevity is managing your energy.
The ascent requires specific equipment. You must lace up your Boots to maintain your physical baseline and fill your Flask to fuel your motivation with purpose, profit and play.
You’ll need a Stopwatch to pace your progress so you know when to sprint and when to rest and an Ice Axe to shape your environment and cut through distractions. Finally, you must keep a Field Guide to accelerate your ascent by learning from those who climbed before you.
The Income Pathway.
The antidote to limitation.
Passion is a hobby, but profit is a system. You must design a business model that sustains your life, rather than a life that sustains your business.
Your route begins at Basecamp where you secure the financial runway to climb with intention. You then plant a Flag to make your work visible and find a secure Foothold through paid experiments.
To scale trust, you light a Beacon of credibility and construct a Signpost to price your value effectively. Finally, you build a Stairway to productise your knowledge and decouple your income from your time.
I used to dread the question, “So, What Do You Do?
The journey from fragmented
to undefinable.
For years, I cringed when people asked me that question.
I felt like I was being asked to prove my worth with a single label, while my reality of career pivots, side projects and endless interests refused to fit.
I have lived beyond labels for longer than I’ve had the words to describe it.
I’ve tried almost every form of modern work. I’ve interned, freelanced, contracted, part-timed, been employed and built businesses of my own. Everything it seems except the standard 40-hour a week full time job. I was searching for a place to belong, but the world kept telling me to pick one lane and fall in line.
Now I understand that I’m not here to simplify my complexity. I’m here to design something as unique as I am.
My path wasn’t linear. It was an Ascent.
The Entrepreneur
At 21, I founded House Hack, an award-winning accelerator for Gen Z talent, right from my bedroom during the pandemic.
The Athlete
I represented Great Britain as an age-group triathlete, learning the hard way that obsession without alignment leads to burnout.
The Strategist
As the Founders Associate at The Portfolio Collective, I helped shape the future of work for tens of thousands of professionals, seeing first-hand how the old career ladder was broken.
The Author
I spent three years codifying my methodology into a proprietary system, testing it with hundreds of clients before publishing.
In 2023, I stopped searching for a label and started building a movement.
I founded undefinable life design to help those who are more than one thing dismantle the script.
I spent years experimenting with the frameworks, researching top-performers and coaching individuals to turn their many interests into a focused offering. I don't have all the answers. But I do have the map.
My Golden Thread is to help those who live beyond conventional labels to design their life for uniqueness.
I wrote the book undefinable life design as the guide I wish I had earlier. Whether you’re just starting out or navigating a mid-life pivot, I am here to help you design a life that sustains your energy, scales your income and is unmistakably yours.
How I Show Up.
Being undefinable isn't just about what you do. It's about how you show up. These are the five principles that guide every space I hold.
Respectful Curiousity
We ask with the intention to learn. We listen fully to the answers.
Emotional Bravery
We are openly share our challenges and confront their solutions.
Collective Responsibility
We leave people, places and projects in a better way than we found them.
Purposeful Action
We think in decades, act in hours, shipping ideas before they’re ready.
Seriously Silly
We discuss the topics that matter, but aren’t afraid to laugh along the way.
